Mississippi College Athletics Hall of Fame
An All-Gulf South Conference First Team selection, Buddy was a premier lineman and a valuable member of the Choctaws’ first GSC champions. He attended MC on a full football scholarship and graduated in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration. A man of prayer and compassion that belied his fierceness on the gridiron, Buddy went on to earn a Master’s in Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary and helped launch Triangle Community Church. With his induction, every member of the starting offensive line for MC’s first GSC champions has been enshrined in the MC Athletics Hall of Fame.
