Mississippi College Athletics Hall of Fame
Head coach of the MC tennis teams for 25 years, Boteler compiled a 283-198 (.588) record helming the men’s squad and a 279-164 (.630) mark leading the women’s netters. He won a pair of American Southwest Conference championships with the men, including five ASC East Division titles, and seven ASC women’s East Division championships. A three-time men’s East Division Coach of the Year and an eight-time women’s East Division Coach of the Year, Boteler twice led teams to NCAA Regional appearances. He was named Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year in 2018.
