Nicknamed "Big Chief" for his impressive performance as a nose guard and middle linebacker on the football team.

His younger brothers, Earl T. Conway Jr. '86 and Shinall T. Conway '01, who were also football stars, had previously been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Now, Warren Conway has joined them as a member of the Class of 2023.
