CLINTON, Miss. – Margherita Giubilato, a graduate student and standout midfielder for the Mississippi College women's soccer team, has been named to the 2024 D2CCA All-South Region Second Team, it was announced this week. The prestigious honor recognizes Giubilato's exceptional contributions during the 2024 season and places her among the top players in NCAA Division II women's soccer.

Giubilato, who earned First Team All-Gulf South Conference honors earlier this season, continues to be one of the most consistent and dynamic players in the region. In 12 appearances this fall, she scored five goals and contributed two assists, totaling 12 points. Her offensive output included 24 shots, with 11 of those attempts finding the target, yielding a shooting accuracy of 20.8%.

The recognition as a D2CCA All-South Region player underscores Giubilato's influence on the field for Mississippi College. Whether setting up attacks from the midfield or contributing key goals, her all-around game has made her one of the most valuable players in the Gulf South Conference.

The D2CCA All-South Region teams are selected by sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools across the South Region.
