HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Mississippi College fell to Montevallo 3-1 at John Hunt Soccer Complex on Thursday, despite a second-half goal and seven saves from the Mississippi College goalkeeper. With this loss, MC concludes their season, graduating five seniors who contributed to the team on the field.
Celine Grothe recorded seven saves over 90 minutes, facing 18 shots.
Abby Badurak contributed with a goal, converting her single shot on target.
Summer Utzig added an assist to the team's offensive efforts.
