MC’s Charlie Cooper Earns All-GSC Honors; Choctaws Set for GSC Quarterfinal

CLINTON, Miss. – Mississippi College senior forward Charlie Cooper has been named to the 2025 All-Gulf South Conference Second Team, the league office announced Friday afternoon. Cooper is the lone Choctaw to earn all-conference recognition this season, as voted on by the GSC's head coaches.

Cooper made an immediate impact in her first year with the program, leading Mississippi College in goals, assists and total points during the 2025 campaign. She started all 14 matches she appeared in and delivered a pair of game-winning goals, solidifying herself as the centerpiece of the MC attack.

The honor marks Cooper's first career All-GSC selection and caps a standout debut season in the Blue and Gold.

Mississippi College was one of nine programs represented on the All-GSC teams, which were led by regular-season champion West Florida with seven total selections and three major award winners.
