CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College Women's Soccer Team is gearing up for an exciting 2023 season, announcing their 15-game schedule on Tuesday.

The Lady Choctaws look to defend their 2022 GSC Championship as they kick off the start of the season with an away game against Texas A&M International University on Thursday, August 31 at 7 p.m. CT.

Following the season opener, MC travels to face St. Mary's University (TX) on Saturday, September 2 at 12 p.m. in back-to-back road matchups.

MC returns to action with the first home match of the season, beginning GSC play as they face off against West Florida on Friday, September 15 at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field.

They will continue their home stand as they take on Spring Hill College on Sunday, September 17 at 1 p.m. CT.

MC hits the road again for a matchup against Christian Brothers on Friday, September 22 at 5 p.m. CT, followed by a game against Union on Sunday, September 24 at 1 p.m. CT.

Returning back home, the Lady Choctaws battle Delta State on Friday, September 29 at 1 p.m. CT. On Friday, October 6, MC faces off against West Georgia at 1 p.m. CT, followed by a match against Valdosta State on Sunday, October 8 at 1 p.m. CT, in three consecutive home GSC matchups.

The Lady Choctaws return to the road to face West Alabama on Friday, October 13 at 5 p.m. CT, and then make the trip over to Huntsville, Ala. on Sunday, October 15 with a 1 p.m. start time versus UAH.

MC caps off their 2023 home slate with back-to-back home matches on Friday, October 20 at 1 p.m. CT versus Shorter before concluding their home contests on Sunday, October 22 at 1 p.m. versus Lee.

The final weekend of the season, MC will face Montevallo on Friday, October 27 at 5 p.m. CT before capping off the regular season at AUM on Sunday, October 29 at 1 p.m. CT.

The Lady Choctaws play a total of 15 contests in 2023 with 13 GSC matchups and seven home games on the schedule.
