CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College's
Tytavia Hardy has earned a pair of berths at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Nationals are set to be held at Texas A&M University at Kingsville May 23-25.

Hardy qualified for the women's long jump that begins on Thursday, May 23 at approximately 3 p.m. The freshman is also a national qualifier in the women's triple jump which is scheduled for Saturday, May 25 at 4:45 p.m.

The Pensacola, Fla., native is ranked 18th in the nation among long jumpers and sits 20th in the triple jump. Hardy's qualifying distance in the long jump was 19' 5.5" at the Mississippi College Twilight Invitational while her triple jump leap was 40' 3.25" at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays in Starkville, Miss. Her long jump distance is third in the Division II South Region while her triple jump mark is second.

Andrea McDonald, Liz Laubenburg and Bridget Foreman as the only national qualifiers in program history.
