Ashlynd Madden Named 2025 All-Gulf South Conference

CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College freshman golfer Ashlynd Madden has been named to the 2025 All-Gulf South Conference Team, the league office announced Monday, April 28. Madden becomes just the second women's golfer in program history to earn All-GSC honors, following Ida Lundh, who made history with the Choctaws' first-ever selection.

In her first collegiate season, Madden quickly established herself as one of the top competitors in the conference and region. She finished the 2024–25 season ranked No. 174 nationally and No. 90 regionally among NCAA Division II players, while compiling an impressive 76.1 scoring average across 21 rounds. Her season included two tournament victories at the Wolf Pack Invitational and the Emmanuel Spring Invite, along with two additional top-three finishes.

Madden posted an outstanding 233-61-5 win-loss-tie record in head-to-head competition and consistently ranked among the top finishers in major events, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the Hardscrabble Invitational and a top-10 showing at the Gulf South Women's Golf Championship.
