CARROLLTON, GA. — Despite a hard-fought effort, MC tumbled against West Georgia in their final regular-season game Wednesday, falling by a final score of 94-80 at The Coliseum in Carrollton, GA.
West Georgia got started early in the contest, outscoring MC 43-26 in the first half. MC doubled their point total in the second half, outscoring UWG 54-51 in the final 20-minutes but it was not enough to mount the comeback, falling 94-80.
In Wednesday's loss, Rashad Bolden led the team with 25 points, while Cam Brown and TJ Wallace contributed 22 points each.
Wallace completed the double-double, adding 10 rebounds on the evening. Bolden finished the night with a total of seven assists.
As a team, MC shot 30-of-67 from the field while adding 10 three-pointers on the night. They also scored 22 points in the paint.
The Choctaws fall to13-15 overall on the season and 12-12 in GSC play as they now turn their focus to the Gulf South Conference Tournament.
