MC Men's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi Christian men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring a 25-game regular-season slate that includes 18 Gulf South Conference contests and 10 games at A.E. Wood Coliseum.

The Choctaws will begin the campaign with an exhibition matchup against Division I South Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama. The exhibition will provide Mississippi College with its first opportunity to compete against an opponent before the start of the regular season.

MC opens the regular season Tuesday, Nov. 10, hosting Southern Arkansas at A.E. Wood Coliseum at 7 p.m.

The Choctaws then travel to Memphis for a pair of games, facing LeMoyne-Owen on Nov. 13 before taking on Spring Hill on Nov. 14. MC returns to Mississippi for a Nov. 17 road matchup at Tougaloo before hosting Pensacola Christian on Nov. 19.

Mississippi Christian closes November with a two-game trip to West Palm Beach, Florida. The Choctaws face Palm Beach Atlantic on Nov. 27 before meeting Lynn on Nov. 28.

Gulf South Conference play begins Dec. 3, when MC hosts Union at 7:30 p.m. Christian Brothers follows with a Dec. 5 visit to A.E. Wood Coliseum.

The Choctaws will host Belhaven on Dec. 8 before beginning a three-game road stretch. MC travels to Delta State on Dec. 12, Trevecca Nazarene on Dec. 17 and Lee on Dec. 19.

Following the holiday break, Mississippi Christian returns home Jan. 4 to host Valdosta State at 7:30 p.m. The Choctaws then hit the road for three consecutive GSC games, visiting West Alabama on Jan. 7, UAH on Jan. 9 and Montevallo on Jan. 14.

MC returns to Clinton to host Auburn University Montgomery on Jan. 16 before traveling to Christian Brothers on Jan. 21 and Union on Jan. 23.

The Choctaws begin a three-game homestand Jan. 30 against Delta State, followed by matchups with Lee on Feb. 4 and Trevecca Nazarene on Feb. 6.

Mississippi Christian then travels to Valdosta State on Feb. 11 before returning home for consecutive games against UAH on Feb. 18 and West Alabama on Feb. 20.

The regular season concludes with a pair of games against AUM and Montevallo. MC travels to Montgomery on Feb. 24 to face AUM before hosting Montevallo on Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.

The regular-season schedule features 10 home games at A.E. Wood Coliseum, with the remaining contests taking place on the road.

Following the regular season, the Gulf South Conference Championship is scheduled to begin March 1 with the first round at campus sites. The semifinals are set for March 4, followed by the championship game March 7.

The NCAA Division II South Regional is scheduled for March 12-15 at a campus site, while the Division II Finals are scheduled for March 22-26 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The 2026-27 campaign marks Mississippi Christian's opportunity to compete for a Gulf South Conference championship and a spot in the NCAA Division II postseason.
