CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team secured its second, Gulf South Conference series of the season as it split a doubleheader with Lee University on Saturday, March 19 at Dickin-Scoper Stadium, Frierson Field. The Choctaws (10-16, 5-7 GSC) rebounded with a 4-3 victory in the series finale after falling 6-3 in the opening game of the day.
Â
A trio of Choctaws logged multiple-hit performances during the twinbill as

Lee cut the lead in half in the top of the fourth, but the Choctaws responded with a pair of runs in the fifth to push the margin to three runs as Breedlove and

Â
Justen Freeman drew the visitors from the Volunteer State to within a run with a solo home run in the top of the seventh, but Gadman got the next two batters to fly out before striking out Joshua Perez to end the contest.
