JACKSON, Tenn.--- Three members of the Mississippi College men's soccer team were named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Region teams as announced on Tuesday (Nov. 15th). Joshua Davies, Felix Ewald, and Noah Wagner were all named 1st team All-South Region selections.

Joshua Davies, (a junior defender out of Southampton, England) adds to his award tally after leading a strong defensive group for MC. Davies was recently named the Gulf South Conference Defensive Player of the Year, was a 1st team All-GSC selection, and was a member of the GSC Tournament All-Tournament team.  Davies led the team with 1,398 minutes played on the season (over 200 more minutes than anyone else). He played the full 90 minutes in 13 matches this season. Davies also scored 2 goals on the season. Davies was previously a D2CCA 2nd team All-South Region selection in 2019.

Felix Ewald (a freshman midfielder out of Berlin, Germany) adds another honor to his stellar freshman season. Ewald was recently named the GSC's Freshman of the Year, and was also a 2nd team All-GSC selection. He scored 7 goals for the Choctaws in his debut season in Clinton. He also added an assist as well. His 15 points on the season was the 2nd most on the team. Ewald also went 2/2 on the season in Penalty Kicks, tied for the most efficient conversion rate on the team. Ewald was one of two players on the team to play in every match this season. He also played 1,005 minutes on the season. 

Noah Wagner (a senior out of Corpus Christi, Texas) led the team in goals this year with 10, which was among the most in the South Region. He was the quickest player in the GSC to reach the double-digit goal mark on the season. 8 of Wagner's goals came in conference play, which was also among the tops in the conference. Wagner picked up 20 points on the season, which was 2nd most in the conference. He was also the only player for MC to start every match this season. Wagner was recently named a 1st team All-GSC selection.

MC tied for the most 1st team selections in the South Region with three (tied with Florida Tech). 

The D2CCA (Division II Conference Commissioners Association) All-South Region teams pick the best players from the South Region which consists of the Gulf South Conference along with the Sunshine State Conference. The teams were voted on by the region's Sports Information Directors. 

The first team honorees from the All-Region team will now advance to the national All-American ballot with those teams set to be announced on November 30th.
