BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Mississippi College Junior forward Noah Wagner was named GSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for his performances this past weekend against Lee University on Friday (Sept. 24) and against Shorter University on Sunday (Sept. 26).

Wagner scored two goals and added an assist in MC's commanding 4-0 win over Shorter to finish with 5 points on the weekend. The goals were his 5th and 6th of the season respectively.

Overall, Wagner took 6 shots on the weekend with 3 being on goal (both of his shots on goal on Sunday ended up in the back of the net). He tallied 122 minutes on the weekend.

Wagner is MC's first Player of the Week winner for Men's Soccer this season.

The Choctaws will be back in action this upcoming weekend as they travel to take on Alabama-Huntsville on Friday (Oct. 1) and West Alabama on Sunday (Oct. 3).
