MONTEVALLO, Ala. --- Tytavia Hardy added to the Mississippi College All-Gulf South Conference total on Friday, April 30 as she claimed a pair of all-conference nods on the second day of the GSC Outdoor Championships at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Ala.

Tytavia Hardy won the women's triple jump as she posted a distance of 11.97 meters. The victory also landed The Pensacola, Fla., native All-GSC First Team laurels. Hardy turned around and secured All-GSC Second Team in the women's high jump as she cleared a height of 1.68 meters.

Mississippi College added a trio of bronze-medal finishes on the men's side during the second day.

Al Ferrill led a trio of Choctaws in the men's shot put. Ferrill finished third in the event with a PR throw of 15.34 meters.
Daviciea McCartney also brought home bronze as he posted a distance of 14.66 meters in the men's triple jump.
Evan del Rio rounded out the third-place finishers on the day for the Choctaws in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase as he posted a PR time of 8:57.35.

A.B. Williams took fourth in the men's shot put with a toss of 14.28 meters while
Damon Wright finished fifth with a throw of 13.95 meters.
Zach McManus took seventh in the men's triple jump with a leap of 13.60 meters.
Chris Webber turned in a fifth-place finish in the steeplechase as he checked-in a PR time of 9:39.02.

Ryleigh Borbash finished eighth in the women's high jump with a distance of 1.48 meters.
Autumn Frost placed eighth in the women's shot put as she posted a throw of 10.99 meters.
Kiara Vance finished one spot back with a 10.98.

Mississippi College sits in second place on the men's side with 72.5 points after the second day of action. The University of Alabama in Huntsville leads the way with 120 points. The Lady Choctaws find themselves in a tie for fifth alongside UAH with 32 points.

The GSC Championships conclude on Saturday, May 1. The action in Montevallo, Ala., begins at 10 a.m.
