KINGSVILLE, Texas --- Mississippi College's
Tytavia Hardy wrapped up the 2019 outdoor track and field championships for the Lady Choctaws as she finished 15th in the triple jump at the NCAA Division II National Championships.

Hardy posted a distance of 39'10" – her third best jump of the season. Her best leap of her debut season is the school record distance of 40'3.25" at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays. She has two jumps of 40-plus feet this season.

The Pensacola, Fla., native's jump was the third best among freshmen competitors in the event. Aylexus Leshay of Southwest Baptist turned in the best distance of the freshmen with a 40'2.34" in 12th while Keshara Romain of Saint Martin's finished 14th with a 39'10.25".
