CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team returns to action on Tuesday, April 16 as it travels to Magnolia, Ark., to face Southern Arkansas University in the final, non-conference outing of the regular season. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
The contest is the first of four away from Frierson Field this week as the Navy and Gold travel to Livingston, Ala., this weekend to face the University of West Alabama in a three-game series. The Gulf South Conference series is slated to begin on Friday, April 19 with a 6 p.m. first pitch.

The Choctaws enter the midweek affair riding a nine-game win streak after taking the series from Shorter this weekend in Clinton. The sweep is the marked the sixth of the season, including the third straight, and the fifth in GSC action.

Four Choctaws are hitting .300 or better this season led by
Blaine Crim with a .349 batting average. Crim leads the team in hits, doubles, home runs and RBI this season.
Billy Cameron sits second on the squad in batting average with a .326 clip and is third inn hits, home runs and RBI.
Grant Barber and
Brandon Broussard each have .324 clips this season.

Southern Arkansas enters the Tuesday tilt with a 24-14 record after splitting the first two games at Arkansas Tech this weekend. The two teams were scheduled to meet in the series finale on Monday. Austin Baker leads the Muleriders with a .391 batting average and 59 hits.
