BILOXI, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team fell 5-1 in Biloxi, Miss., at MGM Park to William Carey University on Wednesday, March 20. 
Grant Barber and 
Brandon Broussard logged multiple hits in the contest with two each.
 
The Choctaws couldn't find the timely hit as they left nine runners on base in the contest as they had a runner reach in every inning, but the ninth. The Navy and Gold went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- After Broussard tied the game at 1-all scoring on a Luke Yancey bunt single and two-base error, William Carey placed a three-spot on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second. Kyle Bayles headlined the second with a two-run single.
- WCU added an insurance run in the third and the eighth.
 
ON THE MOUND
	- Dustan Dille allowed five runs – four earned - on four hits in 2.0 innings in the start with two walks and three strikeouts.
- Tim Holloway held the Crusaders scoreless through 4.2 innings in relief. Holloway finished two outs and one strikeout shy of matching his career-high.
- Sam Ciaccio, Austin Chastang and Garrett Ainsworth each recorded at least one out in their relief appearances.
 
NOTEABLES
	- The setback snapped a four-game win streak in the series between Mississippi College and William Carey.
- Ciaccio and Ainsworth made their second appearances of the season on the mound.

Mississippi College returns to action on Friday, March 22 as it travels to Montgomery, Ala., to face Auburn University at Montgomery. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 6 p.m.
