Assisted the Choctaws in winning the Gulf South Conference Championship and earn berth into the NCAA Division II South Regional…made 19 appearances with two starts…posted a 2-2 record with two saves…recorded a 4.58 ERA…tossed a season-long 4.1 innings against Montevallo on Mar. 27…posted a season-high two strikeouts four times…GSC Academic Honor Roll.

born Austin Henry Chastang in Bay Minette, Alabama...son of Pelham and Kristie Chastang...has two younger sisters, Lauren and Caroline...his mother was an All-SEC volleyball player at the University of Alabama...his sister Lauren plays volleyball at Kennesaw State...uncle Brent Chastang played football at West Alabama...majoring in kinesiology.
