CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team returns to action on Monday, Feb. 6 as the Lady Choctaws travel to Cleveland, Miss., to face in-state and Gulf South Conference foe Delta State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

THE SERIES
Mississippi College snapped a three-game skid to Delta State earlier this season as MC claimed an 82-77 win over the Lady Statesmen earlier this season in Clinton. DSU holds the all-time lead in the series at 48-8.
MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE NOTES
Mississippi College looks to snap a two-game slide as it heads to its in-state and GSC foe Delta State. MC fell 72-62 vs. West Florida on Saturday and dropped a 53-43 decision on Thursday evening vs. Valdosta State.
The duo of
Kelley Allen and
Ashley Minor continues to pace the Lady Choctaws offensively. Allen leads the team with 14.3 points per game while Minor is averaging 13.3 points.
Four Lady Choctaws scored in double figures in the victory over DSU in Clinton led by
Kelley Allen's then-season-high 22 points.
Lanae' Bickham added 17 points followed bv 13 points from
Olivia Mabry.
Toni Woods rounded out the quartet with 10 points.
DELTA STATE NOTES
Delta State has lost its last two outings heading into Monday's tilt. The Lady Statesmen dropped a 48-38 decision against Valdsosta State on Saturday after falling 53-52 vs. West Florida on Thursday evening. DSU has dropped five of its last six contests.
DSU is led by Alondrea Rush and Kaelin Kneeland as the duo is averaging double figures in the scoring column. Rush leads the team with 12.8 points while Kneeland, who leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per game, ranks second on the squad in scoring with 12 points per game.
