• Mississippi College looks to snap a two-game skid this season and a six-game slide against Union University entering Thursday. MC fell 77-69 against Southern-New Orleans on Saturday at A.E. Wood Coliseum.

• Four Lady Choctaws scored in double figures in the setback led by
Lauran Sheriff's season-high 19 points. The freshman from Jackson, Miss., also pulled down a season-best eight rebounds.

Zan Ratcliffe joined Sheriff with a season-high performance against SUNO. Ratcliffe scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Ieisha Lacey pulled down a season-high nine boards also in the contest against the Lady Knights.

Zariah Matthews and
Olivia Mabry each scored 10 points against SUNO to round out the double-digit scoring producers. Mabry has scored in double figures 11 times during her four-year career for the Lady Choctaws while Matthews has five, career double-digit scoring efforts and three this season.

• Four Lady Choctaws average double figures in the scoring column this season led by
Ieisha Lacey's 13.0 points per game. Matthews averages 12.0 points followed by Sheriff went 11.5 points per game.
Emery Wilson averages 11.0 points and a team-best 8.0 rebounds.

Zan Ratcliffe has one of the best performances this season in the GSC with nine assists against LeMoyne-Owen. The mark sits fifth among the top assist performances in the league. The Taylorsville, Miss., product is third in the conference in assists per game with five.

Olivia Mabry continues her career performance from the free throw line. The Meridian, Miss., native is shooting 81.1 percent from the charity stripe for her career, which ranks fifth in program history. Valeria Stewart leads the category as she connected on 86.2 percent of her shots from the line. This season, Mabry is 13-for-16 (81.3), which places her eighth in the GSC. Teammate
Zariah Matthews leads the team with a clip of 11-of-12 (91.7) - fourth best in the league.

Kaitlyn Thompson made her first collegiate start in the contest against Southern-New Orleans. The Cleveland, Miss., product posted six points, seven rebounds and a career-high four assists in 30 minutes.

• A pair Lady Choctaws rank in the top 10 in minutes per game. Freshman
Lauran Sheriff averages 34 minutes in her first season with MC - third in the league - while
Ieisha Lacey is averaging 32.5 minutes, which is eighth in the GSC.

• Mississippi College has had at least four players in double figures in three contests this season. MC had six in double-digits in the season opener at Southern-New Orleans, five against LeMoyne-Owen and four in the game against SUNO.

• Union had its five-game, win streak snapped on Nov. 25 at the Drury Thanksgiving Classic to the host Panthers, 87-79. UU went 1-1 during the Classic with an 88-60 victory over Missouri S&T.

• Chelsey Shumpert led Union with 27 points in the loss to Drury. Shumpert led a trio of Lady Bulldogs in double-figures as Sara Lytle added 17 points followed by Tiffany Rechis' 15 points.

• Shumpert, the three-time GSC Player of the Week, leads the nation with 24.8 points per game this season while Lytle is second on the team in scoring with 17.2 points per contest. Rechis is third on the squad in scoring as she averages 11.7 points and Jada Perkins is averaging 10.0 points. Lytle and Anna Lea Little each average 6.8 rebounds.
