CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's cross country team claimed the men's title among non-Division I members at the Watson Ford Invitational. MC logged 35 points in the win as it topped its nearest competitor by nearly 10 points.

Will Young led the Choctaws with a third place finish as he posted a time of 26:21.27.
Jordan Pritchard placed fifth on the team with a time of 26:32.66 while
Tyler Braswell was sixth with a time of 26:39.43.
Sam Darnall rounded out the top 10 finishers for the Navy and Gold in seventh with a time of 26:50.80.

Alex Beers recorded a top 15 finish as he turned in a time of 27:32.15 in 14th place.
Osiel Moreno placed 17th with a time of 27:51.22 while
Jake Russell wrapped the scoring members for the Choctaws in 18th with a time of 27:54.73.

West Alabama finished second with 46 points while North Alabama turned in a third place finish among the team standings with 78 points.

UWA's Oisin O'Gailin was the top individual finisher with a time of 25:51.18 while Union's Justine Kipkoech finished second with a time of 26:13.92.

Mississippi College returns to the course on Saturday, Oct. 14 as it hosts the MC Invitational. Meet time is slated for 9:15 a.m.
