CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team hits the road for its final road swing of the season 2015-16 season as the Lady Choctaws travel to Florence, Ala., on Thursday, Feb. 11, to face the University of North Alabama in a Gulf South Conference contest. Tip is slated for 6 p.m. inside Flowers Hall.
MC VS. NORTH ALABAMAThursday marks the 12th meeting between Mississippi College and North Alabama with the Lady Choctaws holding a 7-4 advantage. MC snapped a two-game skid against the Lions earlier this season with a 91-80 win in Clinton on Jan. 4, 2016.

Kristen Sampson paces the unit with 14.9 points per game while
Chloe Roberts ranks second on the team averaging 13.3 points.
Carla Clemmons rounds out the group with 12.4 points per contest.
Toni Woods leads the squad on the glass with 7.3 rebounds per game, while Clemmons ranks second with 6.3 per contest. Woods and Clemmons have combined for 52 of the team's 71 blocks this season. Clemmons has recorded 33 rejections on the season, which ranks among the single-season leaders in program history. Woods has totaled 19 blocks this season.
BREAKING DOWN NORTH ALABAMANorth Alabama enters Thursday's tilt riding a three-game, losing streak. The Lions last win came on Jan. 28 at University of West Alabama in a 73-71 decision. UNA is 3-6 this season inside Flowers Hall with two of those coming in GSC play against West Alabama (Dec. 13, 80-56) and Valdosta State (Jan. 23, 70-54). The Purple and Gold are led by KeKe Gunter averaging 14.0 points this season. Alexus Patterson ranks second on the team in scoring with 11.0 points per game. Janae Lyde leads the squad in rebounds with 4.1 per contest.
LONG RANGE DANGERKristen Sampson and
Allie Hill have proven to be dangerous from behind the arc as the duo ranks in the top 10 in 3-point field percentage. Sampson is seventh all-time with a 36.5 clip from behind the arc in just two seasons with MC. The Jackson, Miss., native is seventh in 3-point field goals made with 57 and is seventh in attempts with 156.
Hill is ninth in program history shooting 34.1 percent from the 3-point line. The Plainfield, Ill., product is one 3-pointer made away from cracking the top 10 as she currently has 42.
CLEMMONS AMONG ALL-TIME, SINGLE SEASON BLOCKS LEADERSWith three blocks against Union, junior
Carla Clemmons has tallied 33 rejections this season moving her into the top 10 among single season leaders in school history. She stands one block away from climbing into the top 5.
