CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball will look for the seventh home win of the season when they host Lee University on Monday night at 6:00 p.m. in A.E. Wood Coliseum.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools as both are in the reclassification process to Division II and the Gulf South Conference. MC holds a 6-3 record in the "Golden Dome" this season, while the Lady Flames are 0-3 on the road in 2014-15.

Paul Allen Duke earned his 336th win on Saturday, December 13th against Christian Brothers, marking the 700th win in program history, dating back to 1970. Duke is the winningest coach in school history and has the highest winning percentage (.681). He is slated to coach his 500th career game this season with the game against West Alabama on January 24th projected to be the milestone.
The Lady Choctaws pulled off a big come-from-behind victory on Saturday afternoon against Shorter, erasing an 11-point deficit for a 61-54 win. With just over 18 minutes to play, the Lady Hawks led 39-28, but an 11-0 run by MC tied the game with 14:25 to go. After taking their first lead of the second half with 10 minutes to go, the Lady Choctaws would never trail again, halting a three-game losing streak that dated back to December 20th.

Kristen Sampson led MC with 13 points, going 4-of-6 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Junior
Ashley Minor was also a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line, pouring in 10 points to give her double-figure scoring in six of the last seven games. As a team, MC was 18-of-24 (75%) from the charity stripe.

Khadijah Jones came off the bench for her best game as a Lady Choctaw, tying a season-high with six points and setting a season-high with five rebounds. Senior
AnnMarie Harris scored seven points with a team-high eight rebounds, while junior
Allie Hill had seven points and a season-high five assists.
The Lady Flames are led by head coach Marty Rowe, who has posted an impressive 293-62 record over 11 years at the helm. His team opened the season with five straight wins, but they are just 3-4 over the last seven contests. They went just 3-of-21 (.143) from the three-point line in a 54-49 loss at Delta State on Saturday.
Lee started three freshman in the loss to the Lady Statesmen and two of them, Emiliegh Swafford and Erin Walsh, combined to go 4-of-23 from the field against DSU. Swafford is the team's leading scorer with 15.5 points per game, while Walsh is just behind with 15.0 ppg. Junior Christina Johnson leads the way with 7.7 rebounds per game, while senior Alex Swope has a team-high 58 assists.
