LIVINGSTON, Ala. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team traveled to West Alabama for a mid-week match, coming up short in three sets, 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.
Freshman
Krista Zieschang led the Lady Choctaws' (4-14, 0-11 GSC) attack with 11 kills and just one error for a .435 hitting percentage. Freshman
Taylor Edwards had six kills while freshman
Ashton King has four. Freshman
Sydney Chandler led the team with 16 assists, while senior
Holly Tupper had a team-high 16 digs, followed by Edwards with 12 digs.
Yanesha Johnson led the Lady Tigers (6-10, 5-6 GSC) with 10 kills and seven digs, while Elizabeth Culhane had eight kills with just one error. Callie Murphy had a match-high 19 assists and four service aces.
The Lady Choctaws will be back in action this weekend at home as they host North Alabama on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and Union University on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
