CLINTON, MS - The Mississippi College basketball teams will play host to the University of the Ozarks in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at A.E. Wood Coliseum. The Lady Choctaws are scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off with the men set to play afterwards. Both games will be broadcast live on GameCentral beginning at 12:45 p.m. with
Reid Vance on the call.

(1/22/11) - The Lady Eagles shot 52% (11-20) from the three-point line as they picked up their first-ever win in Clinton over the Lady Choctaws, 67-62.
Jalessa Taylor led MC with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while
Jennifer Wair tallied 16 points and 14 boards. #
Traci Rodgers# came off the bench to scored 13 points, making 4-7 three-pointers. The Lady Eagles had five players score in double-figures with Lacey Phillips finishing just shy of a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.

Jalessa Taylor had a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds, but it was not enough as Ozarks swept the season series from the Lady Choctaws for the first time with a 77-72 win in Clarksville, AR. Sabrina Goddard led the Lady Eagles with 21 points, while Allison Villines came off the bench to score 12. April Young had 11 points and eight assists in the contest.
