Mississippi Colege Athletics

The Mississippi College women’s indoor track and field team finished 5^th in the NCCAA National Championship at Indiana Wesleyan University.
 
Kiana Grant (Meridian, Miss), won the national championship in the long jump on Friday with a distance of 18’ 9.25,” while also claiming the crown in the triple jump with a distance of 38’ 5.50”
 
Grant along with Alex Buchanan (Seminole, Fla.), Anna Grace Govero (Clinton, Miss.), and Bobbi LaBrant (Largo, Fla.) finished seventh in the 4X400M relay with a time of 4:09.26. Grant ran a 1:00.47 in the 400M run to grab an 11^th place finish.
