Junior softball player Lacie Patterson improved to 9-2 on the year, earning two wins in a series victory over Hardin-Simmons.

The Southaven, Miss. native struck out 10 batters and only walked two over two complete games.  Patterson allowed just eight hits over 14.0 innings pitched to record a 1.00 ERA.

Patterson and the Lady Choctaws will host Millsaps on Wednesday for a single-game at 6:00 p.m. at the MC Softball Complex before traveling to Longview, Texas for a three-game series beginning Friday at 4:00 p.m.
