Senior Melanie Benner (Seminole, Fla.) scored her third goal of the season for a win over LSU-Alexandria 3-1. Benner tallied an assist in the match making her MC's all time leader in assists with 27. 

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday, September 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Longabaugh Field where they will face Delta State for their first Gulf South Conference match.
