-Named to Mississippi Association of Coaches Class 3A All-State Second Team as junior, selected to play in Crossroads Mississippi High School All-Star Junior Game after batting .353 with 11 doubles and 22 RBI in 38 games
-Named second team All-Metro his senior campaign by the Hattiesburg American after he batted .376 with nine 2B and 22 RBI in 35 games with 22 walks and six strikeouts and went 5-1 with a 0.20 ERA in 34.1 innings, with 37 strikeouts and six walks
