This Week in Choctaw Athletics

Another full action-packed week with eight Choctaw programs in action! Men and women golf start their post season while everyone else is on the road Stay in the loop with all the action by checking GoChoctaws.com, the MC Athletics app, or following Choctaw social media!

Tuesday Apr. 15 
Baseball 
After being on the road in Alabama, the baseball team is heading to Magonlia, Ark. to face Southern Arkansas University in non-conference action. This marks the 16 matchup between the Choctaws and the Muleriders with the Muleriders won the previous matchup back in February. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field on YouTube.

Wednesday Apr. 16 
Tennis 
After finishing their home stretch last week, the men and women tennis teams are back on the road to face the University of West Alabama in GSC action. This marks the 20 matchup for the men with the Choctaws won the previous matchup. For the women, this is the 22 matchup with the Choctaws won the previous matchup last season. First serve is set for 12 p.m. in Livingston, Ala. 

Thursday Apr. 17 
Men and Women Golf 
After taking a couple of weeks off from action, both the men and women golf teams head up I-55 for the GSC Conference Championships in Tunica, Miss. This three day event is at the Tunica National Golf Course and the participants will compete in a three-round (54-whole) event.  First tee is set for early morning. 
Championship Central 

Tennis 
The men and women tennis teams continue their road trip in Alabama by facing the University of North Georgia in Montgomery, Ala. in non-conference action. This marks the second time that both programs are seeing each other with the Nighthawks won the previous matchup. 
First serve is set at 11 a.m. 

Friday Apr. 18
Men and Women Golf 
This is the second day of the GSC Championships in Tunica. This three day event is at Tunica National Golf Course. First tee for the second day is set for early morning. 
Championship Central

Track and Field 
After going to Tennessee last weekend, the men and women track and field teams are heading to Atlanta, Ga for the Georgia Tech Invitational. This is a two day meet that will take place at the George C. Griffin Track. First event is set for early morning 

Softball 
After being in Huntsville last weekend, the softball team is heading to Pensacola, Fla. to face the University of West Flordia for GSC action. This marks the 36 matchup between the Choctaws and Argonauts with the Choctaws won the series last season. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. for the doubleheader at UWF Softball Complex on FloCollege.

The baseball team heads down to the Sunshine state to face West Flordia in GSc action. This marks the 25 matchup between the Choctaws and the Argonauts with the Argonauts won the sereis last season. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Jim Spooner Field on FloCollege.

Saturday Apr. 19
Men and Women Golf 
This is the last day of the GSC Championships in Tunica. This 54-whole event is at the Tunica National Golf Course. First tee is set for early morning.
Championship Central 

Track and Field 
The men and women track and field teams are back in Alanta for the Georgia Tech Invitational. This invitational is at the George C. Griffin Track and the first meet in set for 10 a.m.

Softball 
The softball team is back for the final game of the series against West Flordia. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. at UWF Softball Complex on FloCollege.
