CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College outside hitter
Rhaia Davey capped a standout 2025 campaign with one of the Gulf South Conference's top honors, earning a spot on the 2025 All-GSC Volleyball Team, announced by the conference office on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Davey became a cornerstone of the Choctaws' attack all season long, leading the team in total blocks and sitting second in kills. She resides in the conference's top 10 in attack percentage as well with a .311 clip, and is second on the team in kills with 229. She averaged 2.34 kills per set across 98 sets. Her all-around contributions extended beyond attacking. Davey ranked second on the team in total blocks with 68 (34 solo, 34 assisted), averaging 0.69 blocks per set and anchoring MC's net defense.
She also added 10 service aces, 13 assists, and 37 digs, rounding out a complete junior season.
The Baton Rouge, La., native is the 20th All-GSC selection in program history and extends the Choctaws streak to six consecutive seasons with an all-conference performer.
