PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team fell in three sets at the University of West Florida on Saturday, Oct. 12. MC moves to 7-8 on the season and 5-3 in the Gulf South Conference.

Lydia Paulette led the Choctaw with eight kills while Ali Wggins supplied 10 assists along with six from
Caylin Pixley. Paulette added two service aces to pace the squad.

Defensively,
Samarin Kipple totaled 12 digs while
Julia Sumrall and
Meg Paparella combined for the lone team block of the outing for the Blue and Gold.

As the MC offense sputtered in the contest, the Argos strung together scoring efforts helping them remained undefeated in conference play at 8-0. The Choctaw registered 21 kills in the three sets while they totaled a .112 attack clip. UWF combined for 49 kills with two players in the double-figure kills and a .433 attack clip. Emily Breazeale and Caiden Largent registered 11 kills apiece.
