CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College took down Shorter Friday evening with the men defeating the Hawks 7-0 while the Lady Choctaws improved to 5-0 overall after a 7-0 win.
On the men's side, MC swept all three doubles courts, with

Felipe Iser winning 6-3 at #1, while
Alvaro Saint Martin/
Walker Ellis won #2 soubles 6-0, and
Antoine Nivault/
Joe Jarvis winning 6-1 at #3 doubles. MC took to 1-0 lead early heading into singles play.
MC won all six singles courts with Sabio winning 6-2, 6-3 at #1, Nivault winning 6-2, 6-0 at #2, Iser taking the #3 court 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (5) before
Brady McDaniel won at #4 singles 6-0, 6-1.
Matias Ballatore won at #5 singles 6-2, 6-0 and
Walker Ellis capturing the complete sweep for the Choctaws at #6 witht a 6-1, 6-0 win.
The Lady Choctaws had the same exact result, winning all three doubles courts and all six singles courts.
Emma Roberts/ Gabrille Geolier won #1 doubles 6-4, while
Elena Roberts/
Maria Rodriguez won 6-3 at #2 doubles as MC took a 1-0 lead.
Emma Roberts handled #1 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 defeat, while
Fernanda Cota (6-1, 6-0) and
Anna Valiaeva (6-0, 6-1) won at #2 and #3 singles.
Hudson captured the win at court four, defeating the Lady Hawks Wright, 6-2, 6-1, as Rodriquez and
Elena Roberts completed the singles sweep at #5 and #6 singles with Rodriquez winning 6-1, 6-0.
The men improved to 3-2 overall on the season with the win and 1-0 in GSC play while the women continue their unbeaten season with a 5-0 start and 1-0 in GSC play
Both programs hit the road tomorrow morning to take on Christian Brothers. They will take the courts beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Memphis, Tenn.
