CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College went for the century mark in points in Friday night's thrilling 100-96 win over Montevallo, capturing the victory at A.E. Wood Coliseum in conference action.

In a thrilling Friday night matchup, the game was deadlocked at 45 points apiece at halftime. The second half witnessed a dramatic 20 minutes that ultimately favored the Choctaws, as they rallied back from a 76-65 deficit with 9:35 left in the game to come from behind for the 100-96 win. MC score 35 points over the final nine points included grabbed an 84-83 lead with 5:41 remaining in the contest. 

Mississippi College never trailed from that point on, reaching thee century mark on an Anthony Ratliff Jr. free throw with 3 seconds left, as MC walk out of the Dome on Friday with the win. 

Leading the charge for MC was Rashad Bolden, who showcased an impressive all-around performance with 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. Cam Brown also played a pivotal role, contributing 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Eric Fleming added 16 points for the Choctaws.

Dekyre Fuller and Lucas Heflen provided additional offensive firepower, each scoring in double digits with 12 and 6 points, respectively.

The Mississippi College team exhibited remarkable offensive efficiency, with five players reaching double-digit point totals. Additionally, the team's defensive efforts were highlighted by Anthony Ratliff Jr.'s notable performance with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Mississippi College provided a strong shooting performance, finishing the game at 49.3% from the field. The team's success at the free-throw line, making 26 of 36 attempts, played a crucial role in securing the victory.
