CLINTON, MS – The Mississippi College men's basketball team showcased themselves in their final exhibition game before the regular season kicks off on November 10 at Albany State, defeating Millsaps this week 88-53 at A.E. Wood Coliseum.
In the first half, Mississippi College asserted their dominance, scoring an impressive 46 points. They continued to shine in the second half, adding 42 more points to their tally. The Choctaws dominates the outcome in Clinton, finishing the night with an 88-53 win over the Majors.
Rashad Bolden led the team with 29 points, on 9-of-20 shooting from the field. He was also a perfect 11-for-11 in free throws. He also added five rebounds and had five assists.
Lucas Heflen also made a significant impact with 20Â points, while recording 3 rebounds, and shot 7-of-14 from the field.
Judah Land contributed 10 points and 12Â rebounds, recording a double-double, whileÂ
Anthony Ratliff Jr. added 6 points and 11 rebounds to pick up a double-double.
MC collectively shot 49.2% from the field and 47.1% from beyond the arc.Â
Mississippi College is primed and ready for the upcoming season as they gear up to take the road on November 10 at Albany State in Albany, Ga. with tip-off set for 6 pm.
