MURFREESBORO, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College women's golf team concluded its fall slate with a seventh-place finish at the Music City Invitational on the Old Fort Golf Club in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Choctaws shot a team score of 632 on the day.

Ida Lundh paced the Blue and Gold for the second consecutive tournament as she posted a two-round score of 154. The Gislaved, Sweden, native fired back-to-back rounds of 77 to finish tied for 11th. Her 77 in the second round marks her second-best, second round of the season. The freshman shot par on 27 of the 36 holes.

Francisca Herrera Tallone finished second among the Choctaw linksters as she finished tied for 13th. She turned in a card with a 76 in the opening round and a 79 in the second round for a two-day total of 155. Her opening-round score is her second-best round of the season and is only bested by her 73 in the final round of the Joe and Lee Duncan Invitational to open the season. The Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, freshman birdied two holes and made par on 22 of the rounds.

Hannah Hinckley missed a top 20 finish by one stroke and she carded a 158 over the two days. She opened the Invitational with an 83 in the first round and bested her score by eight strokes in the final round as she recorded a 75. The McComb, Miss., sophomore led the Blue and Gold as she birdied five holes during the two days and shot par on 16.

Sarah Hodson finished 49th overall. She shot an 82 in the first round and recorded an 83 in the final round for a two-day score of 165. The Raceland, La., native was second on the team in birdies with two. Fellow senior,
Jenna Belton, wrapped up the scoring with a 173 and tied for 61st. She shot an 89 to open the Invitational and followed with an 84 in the final round. Hodson and Belton shot par on 16 holes.

In a NCAA Division II laden field, Lincoln Memorial University took home the top team title. The Railsplitters turned in a team of 606 followed by Carson-Newman University with a 609. Rogers State University finished third with a 615.

Hannah Hollard from Carson-Newman was the top individual with a two-day score of 145. LMU's Dilyara Bulambayeva, Rachel Mathieson along with Union University's Brooklyn Verdugo finished tied for second with a score of 149.
