SANDESTIN, Fla. --- The Mississippi College women's golf team finished 10th at the GOLFWEEK Division II Fall Invitational at the Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, Fla. The Choctaw posted a three-round score of 929.

Ida Lundh led the charge for the Blue and Gold on the course as she finished 13th among the field of 59. The Gislaved, Sweden, native opened the Invitational with a score of 76 and lowered her score by three strokes in round two. She capped performance with a 72 on the final day to finished with a three-round score of 221 – one stroke back of the top 10 individuals.

Jenna Belton was the second top finisher for MC as she turned in a card with a score of 238 in 44th place. The senior improved upon her first-round by 10 strokes in the second round as she shot a 79. She finished her action in the Invite with a 70 in the final round.
Hannah Hinckley finished two strokes back of Belton as she tied for 46th. She improved her score by 10 strokes in all three rounds and finished with a 70 in the final round for a score of 240.

Fran Herrera and
Sarah Hodson rounded out the Choctaw fivesome as they finished tied for 48th and 50th respectively. Herrera bookended a 76 in the second round with a pair of 83s in the first and third round for a tournament score of 242. Hodson shot a 243 as she concluded her tournament score with a 79 in the final round – besting her previous round scores by three strokes.

Flagler College led the top teams with a score of 857 and posted the top individual, Stella Jelinek, with a score of 209. Rogers State University finished second with a three-round score of 878 as was led by Lydia Sitorus with a 214. She finished tied with Texas A&M International University's Yuliana Yapur as the DustDevils finished third among team with an 879.

Mississippi College returns to action on Monday, Oct. 30 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., at the Trevecca Nazarene University-hosted, Music City Invitational.
