MONTEVALLO, Ala. -- The Mississippi College wrapped up their first outing at the 2022 Full Moon Classic, hosted by Montevallo, shooting a 694 to open the 2022 season.

MC was led by freshman Hannah Hinckley after shooting an opening round score of 80 ion Monday before capping off the second round with a 79.

Sarah Hodson totaled an 88 for the first 18 holes before making an seven stroke improvement on Tuesday,  shooting an 81 for the second round. 

Ellie Smith and Lydia Welborn shot scores of 92 and 93, respectively before finishing with scores of 90 and 91 in the final round of action.

Hinckley finished the week tied for 22nd overall on the leaderboard, with Hodson placing 39th, Smith finishing 43rd, and Welborn placing 44th.

The Lady Choctaws return to action on Monday, September 19, at the William Carey Collegiate, hosted by William Carey at the Canebreak Golf Club in Hattiesburg, Miss.
