CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team battled to a 4-3 loss to Blue Mountain on Wednesday afternoon at the MC Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Toppers opened the match with three doubles victories to take the early point.
 -
Joe Jarvis and
Shane Samyn played the tightest match at #3, falling by a score of 6-4.
SINGLES ACTION
 - The match was split in singles play at both teams won three matches apiece.
 - After BMC grabbed a point at #4,
Joe Jarvis responded with a straight-set victory at #3 (6-0, 6-3) to cut the deficit to 2-1.
 - The Toppers got another point at #1, but Samyn cut the lead to 3-2 with a win at #5 (6-1, 7-5).
 - Blue Mountain won the deciding point with a three-set victory at #2 as
Brady McDaniel dropped a tight one (6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-4).

Maksym Konovalov gave the match its final score with a three-set win at #6 (1-6, 6-4, 10-4).

 - The Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Friday (April 9) when they travel to Pensacola to face #3 West Florida at 11:00 a.m.
