CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College athletic director
Mike Jones is pleased to announce a partnership with HomeTown Ticketing to become the exclusive ticketing provider for MC Athletics.
"We are extremely excited to be using HomeTown Ticketing as our ticket provider for MC Athletics," Jones said. "We have been searching for a way to improve our ticketing solution, and the COVID-19 pandemic expedited that process and moved us to using the best contactless ticketing option in HomeTown."
HomeTown Ticketing has already partnered with the Gulf South Conference for championship ticketing purposes, and several school around the league have partnered or are in the process of moving towards HomeTown.
"We are excited to support Mississippi College and the Choctaw community," said Ryan Hart, Chairman and CEO of HomeTown Ticketing, Inc. "HomeTown Ticketing is a proud partner of the Gulf South Conference and provides schools the tools needed to achieve fast scans and happy fans."
The partnership begins immediately, and the 2020-21 basketball seasons will be the first to utilize the new platform.
Capacity will be limited to 25% in A.E. Wood Coliseum for the 2020-21 basketball seasons, and fans will be asked to wear masks and social distance inside the arena.
Mississippi College is a private Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. MC recently finished their transition process back to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference and began competing for conference and national championships in the 2016-17 academic year.
The athletic department sponsors 18 intercollegiate athletic programs: Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Football, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field, Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field and Volleyball.
