Strong Second Half Propels Chargers Past Choctaws

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --- The Mississippi College men's basketball played a tight first half on Saturday, but Alabama Huntsville pulled away in the second half for the 88-53 win in Spragins Hall.

  - MC battled back and would cut the deficit to 36-30 with just over a minute remaining when Jacob Taylor hit a bucket after a steal by TJ Ben.
  - UAH would take over from there, however, as they hit a three-pointer at the buzzer, scored the first 12 points of the second half and went on a 26-5 run overall to push the advantage out to 62-35 with 13 minutes left.
  - The Chargers would continue to extend the lead and cruise to the home victory.
