CLEVELAND, Tenn. --- Mississippi College's 
Grant Barber delivered a RBI single in the top of the ninth to score 
Dylan Duplechain as the Choctaws completed a Gulf South Conference sweep as it rallied to top Lee University, 7-6, on Sunday, March 17 at Olympic Field.
 
The game-winner was the second hit of the day for the Mobile, Ala., junior and his second in seven days as Barber had the game-winning hit in a one-run, extra-inning win over Valdosta State on Sunday, March 10.
 
Blaine Crim and 
Ty Alderman joined Barber with two hits and one RBI in the game as 
Ryan Lane (4-2) secured the win on the mound with two innings in relief and two strikeouts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- After trailing through six innings, the Choctaws tied the contest at 4-all in the top of the seventh as Brandon Broussard singled through the left side to score Alderman, who pulled MC within a run with a RBI double to left center. Broussard later scored on a fielding error to give the Navy and Gold its first lead of the game.
 
	- Parker Stahlman placed the Flames back in front in the bottom of the seventh with a RBI single up the middle to lift Lee back up 6-5.
 
	- Crim knotted the contest in the eighth with a solo home run down the left field line.
 
 
ON THE MOUND
	- Garrett Hollinghead tossed 4.2 innings in the start as he allowed four runs on eight hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
 
	- Brandon Kennedy pitched two innings in relief with two runs allowed on one hit, four walks and two strikeouts.
 
	- Dustan Dille completed the seventh with a fly out in the only batter he faced.
 
 
NOTEABLES
	- The sweep is the third of the season for Mississippi College and the second in Gulf South Conference play. The Choctaws swept Harding to open the season and completed its first conference sweep on Monday, Feb. 25 against West Georgia.
 
	- The win is the third this season in the Choctaws last at-bat and third come-from-behind win (Lindenwood, Feb. 9; Valdosta State, Mar. 10).
 
	- Mississippi College leads the series with Lee, 9-6, and holds the advantage in Cleveland, Tenn., 5-4. The win is the fifth straight for the Choctaws in the series.
 
	- Crim's home run is his team-leading, sixth of the season.
