CLEVELAND, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team fell 60-50 at Lee University on Saturday, Feb. 2. The win secures the season sweep by the Lady Flames.

Jamilah Sanders stood as the lone Lady Choctaw in double figures with 16 points. The senior forward also grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
Coco Hobson finished second on the team in scoring with nine points. MC shot 31.3 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from the free throw line.

Nicky Widenski led the Lady Flames with 15 points followed by Abby Bertram with 13. Haley Schubert rounded out the trio with 11 points. Widenski paced the squad with eight boards. Lee connected on 34.4 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line.

TURNING POINT
- Lee outscored the Lady Choctaws 14-6 midway through the second quarter to grab a 27-17 lead. The run came after Mississippi College held a 13-11 lead at the first 10 minutes of play.
