CARROLLTON, Ga. – The Mississippi College volleyball team dropped a four-set match at the University of West Georgia on Saturday afternoon. The Choctaws claimed the opening set of the match, but witnessed UWG take the next three sets to secure the Gulf South Conference contest.

TURNING POINT
West Georgia claimed the third set of the match to take a 2-1 lead over Mississippi College. The Wolves rallied from 6-1 down in the set to take a 16-15 lead in the set en route to a 25-19 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Kendall Platt totaled her team-leading 14th match with double figure kills with a team-best 11. The Anaheim, Calif., native added 20 digs for her team-best fifth double-double of the season.
- Lexie Laurendine collected her first, collegiate double-double with a team-best 21 assists and 12 digs.
- Shelby Grace Mays, Jamie Boros and Autumn Frost each totaled nine kills in the match to finished tied for second on the team.
