- Six Choctaws recorded multiple hit efforts led by Grant Barber and Cameron's four-hit efforts. Hunter Wilson, Crim and Luke Yancey each added three hits while Kyle Smith supplied a pair of hits.
- Crim led the team with four RBI. Barber, Wilson and Cameron each drove in three while Yancey posted a pair of RBI.
- Zack Ingram (1-0) tallied the win on the mound with seven strikeouts and four hits allowed.

- Mississippi College posted a run in every inning, but one in the game. The Choctaws garnered a pair of six-run frames in the second and sixth and added a five-run, third inning.
- After plating two runs in the first, Barber ignited the scoring output in the second inning with his second, RBI double to left center. The Mobile, Ala., native posted a RBI in each of the first three innings of the game.
- Cameron recorded the first home run of the season for MC as he sent a shot over the right center wall to extend the lead to 7-0 in the second inning, scoring Crim.
- McKendree's lone run came in the third frame as Luke Brening hit a home run to right field.
