CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team clinched the series against McKendree (Ill.) University on Sunday, Feb. 18 with a pair of wins at Frierson Field at Dickins-Scoper Stadium. MC (6-1) claimed the series with a 12-3 victory in the night cap after it held off a late charge in the opener for a 4-2 win.

Turning Point
With the bases loaded and one down in the ninth,
Grant Barber caught a line drive back over second base and tagged the bag for a game-ending double play to secure the game.
