CLINTON, Miss. – The Mississippi College volleyball team fell in straight sets on Friday, Oct. 5 to the University of Alabama in Huntsville. MC moves to 7-13 and 1-8 in the Gulf South Conference. UAH improved to 17-4 and 6-2 in the league.

TURNING POINT
After taking a tight, opening set 28-26, UAH grabbed a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-20 decision in the second set. The two squads exchanged leads over the first few points, but the Chargers went on a 4-0 run to grab a 16-10 lead in the second set and never looked back en route to the five-point, set victory.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Lexie Laurendine recorded her third straight double-double of the season with 15 assists and 18 digs. The 18 digs marks a season-high and surpasses her previous best of 12 accomplished twice this season at Valdosta State and West Georgia.
- Autumn Frost posted eight kills - one shy of tying a season-high. The Largo, Fla., sophomore tied a season-high in digs in the contest.
- Grace Rich tied her season-high in aces.
