ROME, Ga. – The Mississippi College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday, Oct. 13 inside the Winthrop-King Centre on the campus of Shorter University. SU claimed the opening match of the day with a four-set win over the Choctaws. MC fell in straight sets to Flagler College in non-conference action to wrap up the weekend road trip.

TURNING POINT
Tied at a set each, Shorter took a 2-1 advantage as it claimed the third set 25-16. The Hawks closed out the set scoring the final five points of the set en route to a 25-16 win.

Autumn Frost garnered five total blocks in the match, including four, solo blocks for a career-high.
Jill Brown recorded her 21st match this season with 10-plus digs and moved to seventh in school history in single-season digs with 397.
