ARKADELPHIA, Ark. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team fell 6-3 to the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University 6-3 on Thursday evening. The loss brings MC's record to 1-1 on the season.
In doubles action,
Marcos Rocca and
Petar Damjanovic knocked off Juan Moncada and Luis Chab 8-4.
Rocca grabbed another point for MC in singles action, knocking off Moncda in straight sets (6-2, 6-3).
Trey Randall needed a tiebreaker third set to down Dan Kaplun and grab MC's third point. (7-6, (8-6) 6-3)
The Choctaws will return to action Friday, Feb. 17 when they will square off against Harding University in a neutral-site contest. Match time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
